VIOLA 16" O/F

This viola is handcrafted from a select spruce top and highly flamed
maple back and sides for a dark and rich tone with great projection.
It features ebony pegs with gold trim, ebony fingerboard and
chinrest, plus a hand-applied red varnish for a rich appearance. The
strings are synthetic core Pirastro Obligato known for their warm
and brilliant sound, excellent response and big, powerful tone. A
great match for this viola. The Cadenza one-star bow is made from a
unique woven carbon to match the viola by providing projection and
clarity through all bow strokes. The oblong, hill-style case has a
Black Cordura nylon covering that withstands tears, scuffs, and
abrasions and a lightweight foam shell that is reinforced with wood
backing in critical hardware points, providing both portability and
durability.
