Innovative Percussion EAAWAL Walking
This suite stems from an improvisation I co-created with organist Mattias Wager on our Compact Disc Live at Vatnajokul (Opus 3). On this particular recording, the music features marimba and gongs, and is an impromptu piece recorded in the middle of the night at the Cathedral in Reykjavik, Iceland. Today, the music has developed into a suite for marimba and vibraphone. The references to the original music can still be detected throughout the various movements of the suite.
