The Moonshine Slide Is Warmer, Yet More Resonant Than Glass. Made From A White Clay Body And Glazed With Cobalt, Sound Travels Through The Glazed Exterior Into The Clay Body. The Moonshine Slide Clay Body Is Left Open And Creates Micro-Resonators Round In Shape. The Clay Absorbs High-End Distortion While The Tone Takes On The Shape Of The Resonators. A Round, Fluid Tone Reminiscent Of A Tube Amp Is The Result. The Moonshine Slide Has A Bisque Interior (Unglazed) That Absorbs Finger Moisture. This Eliminates The Slipping Common To Slide Playing And Provides Better Control.
