This violin is handcrafted from select spruce top and highly flamed maple
back and sides for a dark and rich tone with great projection. It features
ebony pegs, fingerboard and chinrest, plus a hand-applied red varnish for a
rich appearance. The strings are nylon core Pirastro Tonica known for their
lively and round sound and very easy response. The Cadenza one-star bow is made from a unique woven carbon with a mother-of-pearl slide, silverplated wire winding, a genuine leather grip with unbleached Mongolian
horsehair to provide the perfect match of projection through all bow strokes.
The case is made from a poly-carbonate, known for its impact strength and
light weigh, make it the optimal choice for protection and portability with
room for music, shoulder rest, and two bows.
