Andreas Eastman Model 105 bass has a great balance of
superior tone and stability. With a fully carved top and
laminated maple back and ribs, this bass has a rich and
powerful sound with enhanced stability. The fingerboard
and tailpiece are ebony and the bridge is a Despiau. The
machine heads are Rubner brass in the Tyrolean style. The
corners are violin shaped and the purfling is genuine
hand-inlaid ebony. It is finished with a hand-applied,
shaded, antique-style spirit varnish. The VB105VL34 bass
has Kaplan strings which imbue the bass with deep bass,
clear trebles, and rich harmonics and blend beautifully.
They feature stranded steel cores that make them dynamic
and responsive under the bow.
