Gunter Maibach String instruments are entirely handmade in workshops that are virtually identical to German workshops from the late 1800’S. Each instrument is handcrafted in the European tradition.

Each instrument is crafted from select, seasoned tone woods reflecting Maple flamed back and ribs with superb straight, narrow grain Spruce tops, and assembled exactly like those found in Europe a century ago. Finished with a beautiful amber colored varnish that is both bright and translucent.
