Latin Percussion LP597 King Klave
Clave is the foundational rhythmic pattern for much of Latin music and is typically played by striking two wooden sticks together, producing a bright, cracking sound. LP King Klave is the loudest clave available and is made of specially formulated fiberglass. This nearly indestructible construction yields an incredibly loud "cutting" sound that can be heard on recordings from around the world. LP King Klaves measure 8" x 1" and have the projection and volume to cut through loud live music. They are also ideal for school use in marching bands. Clave (pronounced clah' vay) is the rhythmic pattern that forms the basis of Latin music.
